Religions and belief systems in Cooltopia are numerous including the recognition and worship of all sorts of deities and groups. The majority of them are based on nature or physical things in the world. There is even a group that worships fish to help them gain favor when crossing the ocean.

Not many Cooltopians actively worship or pray to any specific deity. β€œDeity” is used in everyday language and Cooltopians often create shrines within natural environments that garner them favor amongst their deity of choice. Religion Some Cooltopians visit shrines more often than others, but most of them wear some form of trinket to represent their favored deity. The main spiritual belief system is Natureship. This religion has been around for many, many years, but nobody really knows when it began. It is not practiced as much in current times. Also, there may be shrines in some villages and towns, but cities tend not to have shrines within their borders as most residences have enough space to house their own shrines. Deities A lot of the deities are based on the Orders, as these are activities or items that individuals have made tributes for over time. For example:

  • Sea Deity (Fishing / Travel by Boat)

  • Rock Deity (Mining)

  • Harvest Deity (Farming)

  • Liquid Deity (Alchemy / Potions)

  • Deity of Invention (Tinkering)

There are so many other deities that exist, from a big deity like the Sea Deity all the way down to the Deity of Worms. These exist because Cooltopians manifest them into existence and believe in them. The belief system gives them hope and a sense of respect for the land around them.
