Since the great Magical War many years ago, magic has largely been lost in Coolptopia. Some of the powerful artifacts from this era are still around, but they are few and far between. To get hold of them requires either possessing a lot of Milk or embarking on an adventure to the depths of Cooltopia where these artifacts have been buried.
Some very small, magical trinkets still exist in Cooltopia, but no one knows how they work or how to make another one.
No one is capable at this time of casting magical spells in Cooltopia. A lot of the literature in the Royal Library in Diamond City tells of the many spells that were cast in the Magical War. Although it is agreed that these tales have likely been exaggerated.
Certain items have been reserved for the leaders of each Order and passed down from one to the next. For example, farmers have the ability to create strange rocks that help water the surrounding crops. These items are still very rare though, as it takes a long time to make them and they are in great demand.
